>Looking through my list of recruited girls to make a water-attribute team for Perili to lead
>I got some meh-ish looking "octopus girl" (not even an actual scylla or something just a human girl with three tentacles behind her)
>Look at her page to translate it and see what she does
>Instead of the trait the first thing I see is "she sleeps in an octopus pot"
>Never heard of an octopus pot
>Look it up
>It's actually a Japanese Fishing Technique for catching Octopi that involves just leaving a specifically shaped clay pot in the ocean for a few days
>If the pot is right an Octopus will just decide to use it as a home or safe space, and won't even try to leave when it's pulled out
>The name of the technique is Takotsubo
>Immediately go find Mitsuko on the japanese wiki to see the untranslated information about her
>Her name is actually MitsuBO and "for some reason she doesn't have a proper name"
I always liked her for the Honey Pot concept because I thought it was a brilliantly original play on the term but I never understood why she was a scylla or even had any tentacles at all, much less why she was actually undead in the first place but now everything about her makes sense on top of making her even MORE of a multi-layered pun!
Mitsuko/Mitsubo isn't just a Honey Pot, she's a Ghost Octopus Honey Pot that is literally a Honey Pot (trap) for Octopi that kills them on top of being a Honey Pot for men using her other 'honey pot'. That's absolutely brilliant. I can't believe I'm only now realizing how much went into her. She really is well done!
