I used to have this mindset during my teens and a larger part of my twenties as well, used to think fit people were all shallow. Why would they waste their time in the gym, when they could be learning or creating things? Even when losing weight before, I only did it by eating in a deficit, not exercising at all.
Starting to exercise changed my life so much. 99 percent of the random pains in my body are just gone. Simple everyday tasks are easier to do. I no longer feel like killing myself every day.
I don't get how I could have willingly lived like that.
