Russians love terror bombing. It is in their prison culture and their religious belief of "Russia stronk".
Ukraine deserves it, because Russia is mighty and must assert it's place. Many western analysts fall over themselves to explain why Russia does x.
You have some roundabout theories how russian generals do shit with math and the smekalka barn tanks are just adaptions to the drone war.
