(Exoteric) Reason is not the way. Reason just adds a conceptual layer on top of sensory data, reinforcing it. Which is fine if your external situation is positive, but if you use reason to interpret negatives you are just building negative theory on top of negative facts.

But yeah this negativist root of obsess over "limiting beliefs" "resistance" "negative thoughts" then consciously let them go is interesting, albeit dodgy.
