I currently belong to the 20% club. Used to give 15%. Maybe I'm some kind of math wiz, but I don't know why people freaked out over calculating tip at that rate … Take 10% (move the decimal point.) Add half of that result, that's 15%'ish. Don't bother calculating down to the penny. If the service was good, round up/add more. If the service was mediocre/bad, leave as is if not lower.
30% is nuts.
