Humans bravely slew the Ara-no-Kami by decapitating him, but when they cut open Its heart, they discovered a sleeping beauty, a nine-tailed Phidian girl. She is the Great Heavenly Granddaughter Asayo-Yoruakeru no Hime-no-Mikoto. When she woke up, the dwellers of the reed field witness sunrise, twilight, and nightfall for the first time.
