The interest was there, but as said, the guy who stepped up to lead quickly vanished without a word.
I really think that interest is still here, a lot of people spoke up and it was an active discussion, but obviously there needs to be someone to take the reigns, and people were just left to hold their blueballs.
I'll be back home in a couple days, maybe I could look at trying to resolve the whole part about combining the texture sets properly so that animated textures and switches don't conflict.
That may take a few days for me to work out, and I'm not promising anything, especially NOT to lead the project as a whole, I don't have that kind of time and energy, but maybe I can help things along the way a bit, at least.
