Nigger buy a plane ticket. Go see. It’s the exact same economy the boomers had in the 70s. It’s a small town with a factory. Some parts are run down. The old folks can’t keep up with shit, ain’t enough labor to go around to fix their shit so they’re perpetually waiting for Cletus Jr to come back for 4th of July and fix the deck over the long weekend, even if you fuck up at the factory and get fired you will get rehired a week later because they don’t have any other options. There are drunks hanging out at the liquor store that usually work at the factory because there’s no bar. There’s a sad little house where a couple of people with Downes live. Some houses are just flat out empty because mom and dad died and their kid can’t find a buyer. That sinks values everywhere. This one is nice, well kept, large enough for the whole family, and it has an indoor fucking pool. This is all publicly available. You can just look it up for yourself. Hays ain’t much more expensive either and there’s more people and jobs.
