>recommend me an ortholinear keyboard with 6 rows or at least is not as small as 40%
If you want 6 rows there is Kamina or if you want vintage weirdness there is always the IBM POS keyboards which you could hook up to two different micros and have a split. There is also the IBM Mmm Ortho mod you can do with a model M for a 100% ortho layout but it's an open source project iirc. Alternatively just look out for large programmable macro pads as they are for all intents and purposes cheap orthor keyboards (you can get some massive pcb sets pop up from time to time)

>also thoughts on ortholinear keyboards?
A gimmick with little to no improvement in all honesty. While ergonomic keyboards can reduce hand strain and alternative key layouts may improve type speed, ortho doesn't really do much of either in a vacuum. The problem ortho seeks to solve is a minimal one with allowing your fingers to go vertically to another key perfectly, but a situation where you need to go from one row to another without moving horizontally is not that common with a traditional English layout. With a non-ortho all you do is move your hand slightly along a slant plane which in terms of overall movement is not that massive compared to that of a straightly vertical movement and as far as I am aware does not exert any more strain than with an ortho.
