Does anyone else feel like Oda is setting up Akainu to be redeemed post timeskip? He talked shit to the Gorosei, apologized to Kizaru and called him brother, and seemed distraught about Vegapunk's message.

He doesn't seem evil like some villains as much as a guy man with misguided justice and a vendetta against pirates.
