35mm film kinda sucks, it was a compromise even back in the film days and is way overpriced for what it is today. You can of course get excellent results with it, however the value proposition remains questionable given what you can achieve with modern digital.
I also use M-mount Voigtlander stuff (coincidentally a 28 and 50 like you) on mirrorless, and it's fucking great. Best move of my entire photographic career when it comes to sheer enjoyment of the activity.
Right now my split looks like:
>FF mirrorless workhorse + a couple M-mount lenses, no native AF stuff yet
>APS-C compact for the pocket, taken to work, errands, going out etc.
>35mm SLR for whenever I'm feeling retarded + a few lenses for it that I also adapt to my workhorse
>6x6 SLR that I barely use because the waist level finder being inverted is FUCKING AIDS to use and having to meter externally is also a pain on the go
I would soon like to add a compact full frame MILC like a Sigma fp to put the tiny 28mm on so that I don't have to swap in the field all the time, or I may get a GRIV for the same purpose instead.
