Ukraine confirms strike on Russian oil refinery

An update to bring you from Ukraine's military now, which has confirmed it struck Russia's Ryazan oil refinery.

In our 9.46 post, we reported that an oil refinery had been struck in Ryazan, with videos on social media showing a large fire near the site.

Regional officials confirmed a drone attack took place, but didn't specify the facility that was involved.

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces also confirmed they hit the Annanefteprodukt oil storage facility in Voronezh region.

Meanwhile, pro-Russian Telegram channels reported five explosions in the city of Penza.

In the Samara region, the Novokuibyshevsky oil refinery was reportedly on fire after a drone strike, with videos on local Telegram channels showing flames coming from the refinery.
