>just thinking about where I go from here, what I should do now, kinda lost about who I am

>long silence, before I hear him chuckle and say, "yeah kid, I know how you feel. one moment you're saving the universe, the next you're back doing regular old vanguard ops, like going back to the regular season after winning the world series"
>"but when you're in this line of work, aside from being a good guy and all, it really comes down to why you do it in the first place, this whole saving the universe time and time again. so if you can figure that out, then those vanguard ops and other menial tasks might not be so bad kid."
>as he gets up to leave, I tell him, "wait, how will I know what I do this for?"
>he turns around, lights up a cigar, gives me a big grin. "I'll let you think about that"
>"Remember kid, there's heroes and there's legends. Heroes get remembered but legends never die, follow your heart kid, and you'll never go wrong."
