Go check the /v/ archives, reddit threads, etc at any period during launch and before any DLC announcement.

Be ignorant all you want but very few people liked the game. Not reading the rest of the post because you're so insistent that this wasn't the case for some reason and your only "proof" is steam reviews which again isn't where the game was first available.
