It's better integrated than Witcher 3's content for sure, but the content itself isn't much better. It's still very much "go to mark on map, do pointless time wasting activity, go to next mark", there is no real sense of exploration or wonder. If I have to hear Chadley interrupt me one more time to say he marked my map with something when I already know he did I might just quit side content entirely.
Also chocobo riding in this one kinda sucks and the world is annoying to traverse (another similarity I found to Witcher 3, hated the movement in that game especially with a horse)
