Glad to read you liked it a lot and your thoughts about consequences which I agree with.
One thing you might've missed about the theme and Sheffy parts is that there's also an underlying theme of
>Accepting something can't change but still wishing for it

>Sheffy with her babu thing ( which is a direct allegory for her ice skating injury )
>Precia with hating Eris
>Eris with trying to make her wish come true

At different point in the story all 3 come to an understanding that while what they wish might not come true, they can still move forward and find another solution.
