America can do airlifts and drop boxes of supplies without touching the ground. Japan is only a few miles off the coast. Logistics aren't a problem unless China can block our ships from leaving Los Angeles and arriving in Tokyo(they can't).

Again, you're missing the fucking point. I said we failed. But we didn't fail militarily. We failed geopolitically. Same reason the Russians "lost" in Afghanistan while taking less casualties than they take in three months in the Ukraine War.

The point I was making is, had the Afghan government gained legitimacy, Afghanistan would basically be our Ukraine or Poland in Central Asia.
