price of the tv doesn't really matter, my point is that both pc and consoles have added prices that aren't part of the system itself. also, ps5 relies heavily on upscaling to achieve "4k", something pc can easily do with fsr and dlss

I can't lie, occasionally something doesn't work, but it usually isn't something that can't be solved with 5 mins, worst case scenario, i'm installing a community made mod/patch. Not everything is perfect alas, see pic related, but that's the true appeal of PC, you get far greater freedom and customization at the cost of convenience.
