lol Games were always meant to be played on controllers basically. I tried playing controller designed games with a keyboard before and it's actually sad and I really genuinely don't know how people do it. Like dark souls I can't imagine using a keyboard and mouse for that lol.

Not true especially when gyro exists too and only really is an argument for fps but you can argue that the skill ceiling is higher on console because it's "harder" to aim. But also you can argue that a higher skill ceiling isn't even a good thing to begin with, most people want games that are easier to play and have fun with others with with not as large of a gap between skill.
