That's what I mean, obviously. Despite the countless number of RPGs out there, the fact that it's so hard to come up with examples of even remotely similar games outside those and ones that are very intentionally derivative (like One Step From Eden) or basically an extremely good ROMhack made in it's own engine that could honestly compete with some of the official games (Shanghai EXE) really drives home just how distinct the system is.
