Midori loremaster here. For anyone who likes them, I recommend listening to the first 2 demos (not First and Second which are EPs, First Demo and Second Demo which have a bunch of unreleased songs).
Before Midori, Mariko was in an indie rock band called Usagi. Still fairly raw but way more melodic and chill than Midori https://youtu.be/_hFmr3DcWmM?t=233.
After Midori, Mariko released 3 indie-rock solo albums as a solo act: 299792458 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kHWoSHf-pd-1chRaCt-TtHH4-W3WWnbRc, m@u https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kLnaIADJVMkY5Yjmy1SJz9XpNH7QovBjE and Kowareta https://youtu.be/3nzwtno5oro; an (awesome) hardcore electro-dance album as DJ510Mariko https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nEUcVvuLDOQvmU20Q8bNB0WmjDOSkTrys, as well as some singles, and a couple of very cute pop-folk albums as Mariko Goto Acoustic Violence Pop. She recently released some new singles, and is still working on solo music.
The keyboardist, Hajimetal, is the most prolific of the ex-members. He is currently a session and live pianist for Glay, a HUGE visual-kei adjacent rock band, has his own small band, Mezcolanza, which I hate, and has worked as a live/session musician or composer for essentially every Japanese artist in history https://hajimetal.jimdofree.com/works-2023/.
The drummer played in a fairly popular band, but his dad got sick and he retired from music to take care of him.
The bassist still plays in a bunch on indie jazz groups, my favorite being Oncenth Trio, a fairly avant-garde trio.
For some adjacent acts:
385 (progressive hardcore punk?) and Bleach03 (hardcore punk). MIYA plays on both bands, bass and voice, and she's friends with Mariko. Miya also plays in Zazen Boys, the new band created by Mukai, the vocalist/guitarist of Number Girl, and this has allowed her to reunite Bleack03 and 385 for new live shows.
Kokeshi Doll, screaming hardcore punk girls.
Seiko Oomori, has done a live kwspfeature with Mariko.
