upon going back and reading your sources again i was wrong in my assumptions on queer women on a couple of different counts and realized the rates of lesbian violence are higher than i anticipated. since abuse is cultural and social more than biological, i can see why this could be the case, however, reading through

there is still evidence backing up my main claim that men are still overwhelmingly the aggressors and that female perpetuated ipv is not nearly as high in the total. establishing that only about just under 8% of the american population is queer, we need to keep in mind that most of these counts are of heterosexual relationships {not that i think you arent taking into consideration as youve previously did mention the fact, just making another note of it}, and multiple of these counts are undocumented even in this stat because of them just not having the proper information. not to mention for specifically bisexuals, around 84% of all bisexuals are in heterosexual relationships, so thats also something to take into consideration of who would be their perpetrator.
>The proportions likely have similar representation for bisexual women, meaning bisexual women are certainly more likely to be abused by women.
is also a very incorrect statement looking at the document considering 89.9% of abused bisexual women report male only abusers. this study also prefaces that like i had mentioned before, abuse faced by queer people were possibly still under the heterosexual label at the time of abuse.
