You don't quite want to detail your talk in the partition. Phascomon looks at you too, and you can tell he feels the same. That moment of truth and vulnerability is something shared between the both of you. It's not to be dissected. You take the lead and just sum it up.

You think you're ready to be a Champion-level Digimon forever? You wouldn't make it in the streets like that. You'd be too big to hide."
He grumbles in response to the slight, but doesn't argue.
"Places like the sewer are probably the only spots Champions can be, right, Doc? Otherwise..."
Doc nods and points upwards.
"Otherwise, bullets will come from on high in an instant. That is, if they cause a mess. A peaceful one would most likely get hunted down and dragged off to whatever they consider a conservatory."
"So the Digivice is temporary, because it uses... Energy from a human?" Phascomon pitches, trying to prove himself in light of that comment.
"Energy from your bond, yes. It responds to your feelings. Have you failed to activate it before?"
You nod. He couldn't demonstrate it to Squid, but you two had no issue Digivolving in the partition. You had a hunch about it back then.
"That's because you didn't really need that power, and you knew it. But a little bit of psychological conditioning, and you'll be right as rain. Just pick a good place to practice. Never in here. One Champion is all it takes to brick my whole room."
