so i havent really had a social circle since 2012, and ive been filling in that gap with streamers
when jerma moved to twitch he was my streamer; he did this bit where he muted to record multiple of the same voiceline, from a character who spoke through many mouths, and i still cherish the memory of seeing it, absolute classic, that was the moment i really got into streamers after really only watching starcraft esports
and over the years he had a good schedule and i got into a habit of keeping my time open to catch every stream
so over the years i picked up other streamers and i started in on asmr, and i had a real physical response to it for a while which is all gone now
but the asmr still comforts me without the physical response, and over time i got into lemonleaf and then found out she was a streamer and i started watching fauna
and fauna was, and probably still is, a talent akin to jerma for me, her streams were just as important, and i got into pomu and same there
november 2023 jerma announces he's retired (there's also a clip of him saying 'if i ever retire it'll be huge, big party,' and then one day he just said 'yeah, i'm retired, everybody knows'
i posted in /vt/ and someone said to find something to make progress in every day, so on top of the gym numbers going up i started playing runescape, where numbers also go up
and then january 2024 pomu retires/graduates and she has this great two weeks of streams where it is just quality time with her like the old days
and her graduation where i cried for 3 hours when it went to end screen and then for three days after that
then february 20th, a month after she graduated, i woke up and i just realized it hurt just as much as it did before and it wasnt getting better, and i got a drink
and then she redebuted as another streamer and i was happy about it, and still drinking
fauna graduates, no biggie since we all know she's redebuting at some point and she does real quick
