If anything, in every other general I've been a part of, it encourages discussing campaigns and neat finds. Especially when the actual game devs are clearly incompetent or uninterested in working on the game, it's how you save yourself from the endless ritualposting of muh news and muh strawmen and muh e-celebs.
You share experiences, write small reviews for hidden gems, help newfags navigate the (frankly awful) Steam workshop and people just get to chill and enjoy the actual damn game
But this place's a bit too far gone for that
