Played Elestrals and Rush of Ikorr the other day, both for the first time.

Elestrals:
-Basically Yugioh with a veneer of a resource system. For this type of game I do like the idea that your resources are tied to your life total. Feels like late 2000s/early 2010s era Yugioh, I can see why people like it. Not a fan of the art style personally, reminds me too much of cheap kiddie fantasy stuff, but it'll be fine to break out every now and then.

Rush of Ikorr:
-The game itself is well-designed but everything around the game is confusing. Designed for 3v3, but only 4 starter decks available. There's a "modification" system where you modify your cards in deckbuilding by placing a clear plastic overlay over them to give them additional abilities (with restrictions built in for balance, i.e. the best cards can't be modified like this and there's three tiers of modifications that cards can be modified with). The games themselves were fun and a lot of back and forth, plays like Keyforge with a pretty standard Bandai resource system. I like mythological stuff though so I'm biased, but I'll happily play this again.
