You're supposed to remove the wheels off the bike, then walk or bus or scoot to the shop to get your tires changed.
Or you could just take them the entire bike and pay the extra charge to have the mechanic remove the wheels.
Is the whole wheels on and off a purely an American thing?
Don't expect to ride the bike there and ride it away later that same day. American motorcycle mechanics are... special.
