I've been playing the Shrine games, they're GZdoom games about a demon killing demons and they were free on Steam. They're mad decent, I find the shotgun from the first game more satisfying than damn near anything in the 2nd game but the 2nd game's weapons are all pretty unique which is definitely worth something. Also, if I've said it once then I've said it a million times, RE Revelations 2's raid mode is fantastic and can often be had for free since the first episode of the game can often be found for free.
