At this point I wouldn't mind her getting backpack'd at all, unless the lead is someone I absolutely don't like.
Hanging behind someone daydreaming while the other actually fights is both in character for her and not too different from the average Setsuna experience in Fates, i.e. just being used for pair up bonuses.
