I couldn't hold and blew my orb stash all on the double special banner for more Rhea/Sothis merge. So far I've gotten 5 merges without getting a single Hortensia fortunately. After the pass I will have six merges. Hoping to break my rate too in hopes for one more merge and then it will be back to saving.

She comes with Dragon Blast as a prf by default so you can switch even if you choose something else, dragons only have so many options so it's surely the best alternative available. Dragon Flame uses 80% of Def compared to Dragon Roar's 40% Res which is a significant amount even if you don't have as much Def, along with healing and skipping the stat check for the damage reduction if the foe initiates.

Depends on what she's fighting but I'd say Boulder. I think she would have an easier time outdefensing units than outspeeding them. Plus if you really care, Gust is on 4 characters, 2 of which are in the normal pool, while Boulder is stuck on one seasonal at the moment.

Even if Siggy wasn't such a stupidly busted unit, everyone would still be rolling for him, because the effect of his ring is just too good to pass it up. Further, unless and until IS releases some skill to provide a significantly better version of Siggy's emblem effect, his ring will always remain extremely useful. There is no unit in the game who wouldn't like +1 mov and canto for free, and this is not going to change. Whichever your favorite unit(s) may be, chances are that Siggy's ring will benefit them greatly. Can't say the same about Ike's ring, for instance. Of course this still entails that most people who rolled for him don't care about Siggy as a character. But you don't need to be a meta slave to want a copy of Siggy. If you just want to give your favorite unit all the best stuff available, that's enough of a reason to chase after the blue canto guy.

Last time it was reasonable was during fallen edelgard's time. After that we constantly had to chase tier 4 skills and our pool of usable units became super slim unless tou just got lucky and rolled a bunch of fallen Byleths or whatever had the good stuff at the time. Then it got worse when all the new tier 4 skills were for new skills without a pre existing budget option. I say all this while still having fun, but probably cause I've been playing since release.

Depends really. Lyn's engage turns anybody into a mini lyn, and sigurd gives them more mobility, either way it allows you to hit things that may otherwise be out of range fairly safely. Sometimes you really just need one more cooldown charge reduction, so even marth's is still pretty good.

Unlike a lot of the emblem effects, it isn't really unit-warping. You can think of it as a lite version of the various chrom/lucina movement abilities, except it doesn't work as well on ranged units.
For that reason, it is best on units who already have good mobility, and want more of it. Melee cavs or units with brutal tempest etc.

Assuming we are talking for AA actually tanking him on ep isn't too difficult with guard+pulse smoke/scowl since he'll never hit a special that way and most units can tank 1 ep combat too but getting him below 25% or killing him in 1 ep is much more difficult, maybe if you stack atk with a blue unit and hit an astra that could work.

There are a bunch of grail units I'd like to build, but I'm still sitting on a lot of unused grails for all the usual hurdles. The first problem is choice paralysis, of course. I don't have nearly enough grails nor feathers to max out all the grail units I like, it's hard to make a decision, so nothing gets done.

But even if I was more decisive, the second problem would still come into play: It takes a truly absurd amount of effort to equip any outdated shitter unit with a modern skillset when you're starting from scratch - and after expending all that effort, the unit is STILL going to fall short of dealing with any of the ubiquitous meta tanks who are poisoning Feh's water supply. Really has a way of sucking the fun out of trying to build anything when you know from the beginning that it's futile anyway.

If you only care about meta, it's probably not worth it. Edel is not good for SD, she scores low in Arena and any good AR-D should be able to handle an AoE spammer like her. But if you want to use a favorite with their best possible build, then you should go for it. It's all up to how you play the game and how much you like her.
If you do want to invest in her, I'd keep in mind that CYL is coming soon and brave units always release with a bunch of new inheritable skills, you might want to wait for that before making any inheritance decisions.

They do, technically. The problem is that these voice lines take the form of a whole conversation between the characters. You'll probably only ever listen to it once and its not as fun as tapping on a character to get a short, self contained comment directed at (You). So ironically, even though Duo units come with more voiced content than regular units, that content is played back much less frequently than the snippets from regular units.
