I spent at least $100 on Mega Millions tickets since it started costing $5 each. I only ever won once, which was only $21. That was exciting since before the game change, matching the Mega number an done other number would only be $3. But then I won nothing on Mega Millions during the past two months. Why would I do this, when Powerball only costs $2 each still, and California state lottery games like SuperLotto and Fantasy 5 are a dollar? Cause it is the only multi-million-dollar lottery game with drawings held on Tuesdays and Fridays. So what often happened was that, I decided to buy a Mega Millions tickets, because I hadn't won the lottery yet, and this would be the most exciting thing to look forward to between the time I buy the ticket and checking my numbers after the drawing. Regardless, I have fun with the process, enjoying the suspense and excitement, not something I do out of depression and desperation. There have been times I didn't buy any lottery tickets, but I usually to get at least one, cause I can, and it's a fun thing to do. Winning a multi-million-dollar jackpot soon will be even more fun, I am sure.

>Being alive is like winning the lottery.
Is this true? It often doesn't seem like it while being an insignificant human in a world of several billions, with countless having come and gone before. Are there really octillions of vying for a human birth souls across time and space, and we are the lucky ones to have manifested into highest physical form on Earth?

I was really excited to win a huge Lottery Jackpot this summer, but now that the Mega Millions jackpot has just been won and the Powerball is growing very slowly, my dreams are crushed. Then again, this means I'm not going to be spending hundreds of dollars on lottery tickets per month anymore and just stick to a single ticket on the $1 state games once to thrice a week.
