Pro hockey players would make pretty good soccer, basketball, baseball, and football players given the opportunity. Other athletes would be shit at hockey unless they started really young. Skating and shooting doesn't have a lot of comparables in other sports. Especially at a professional level where the game moves faster than most people think or react.
Truly the greatest sport.
