Funnily enough the comparison the scientists give on the following page is that it's stronger than any reading they've ever seen and more powerful than any nuclear bomb, though in this case that at least isn't actually a limiting factor, since the scientists are measuring it across a huge gap and they say it exceeds any measurement they've ever seen anyways. That's probably the biggest counter you could use, though I think it'd be pretty weak.
