I genuinely don't know what the solution is. I have a decent commander deck and a couple modern decks but I don't drop like 500 dollars a month on this game. I have some friends who do and I find it insane. And I guess that's fine that's how it is but I have like 50 MTG decks that will never be worth shit if I lose access to the 3 friends I have who will still play low-power 60 card kitchen table. I'll never find a group like that at the FLGS because it's ALL fucking EDH and EDH isn't even any better because you still have the "rule zero" bullshit of power levels. Which can be solved with a simple ladder system.
