As a skyfag who hates cold steel, honestly kuro isn't any better aside from the core cast having actual chemistry and synergy. The writing still sucks and despite kuro 1 trying to be more mature it still fails miserably by virtue of being half assed on so many levels, that said kuro 1 was decent it's the sequels that completely killed any potential for this arc.
