Going on only the movies, didn't the Doubledoor v Voldivolt fight consist mostly of instant-fire spells without verbal components?
I think it's fair to say that a competent wizard can fire those rapid-fire spells as fast as any kinetic weapon.
Otherwise, anti-bullet talismans on strong wizards or whatever lol.
