Right away I think of a comparison to FF8 ultimecia visual innovation wise, she is not just an enemy model but she is also herself, the background of the entire arena. Thats just the first idea fresh off my head. You could have it look distinctly unlike the art style of the rest of the game to stand out. Mechanics wise, do brand new things with existing mechanics or add brand new ones to the fight.
I really don't understand why you're asking me personally to design the fucking boss fight just to prove it doesn't HAVE to be shit and boring, you're kinda making me lose the plot.

I don't WANT every game to just be a sequel to eachother with the same gnostic world system, surprise surprise, its literally my root core complain about V in the first place. Killing the great will in one game doesn't mandate the next game taking place in the same multiverse without a great will, this is my least favourite shit actually. Its BORING, its stale. Give me a game all about egyptian mythology, give me one all about the anunnaki and mesoptomian world structure etc. I even liked the bull god snake god shit in VV, its certainly a much more compelling than the insipid tripe from vanilla V, my only wish was it was disconnected from the temu brand amala world.

I couldn't give a shit about if fans are gonna death battle power level the characters, they've been doing it since nocturne already and aren't gonna stop.
