glad you like her too anon!! honestly, i felt like it was just silly enough to work. stops the issue you'd expect (blowing up in the wind) while also serving a practical function, but still open to gags and the like - kinda a win-win!
also my thought process is that the little black-bolt winglets she's got help mostly with maneouvering while moving forward in the air, but to actually get airborne, she'd probably need to rely on the umbrella-skirt. hacky solution to a weird ability but hey, better than carrying bin bags everywhere
