Both artwork and descriptions have primarchs absolutely tower over their men and are forced to crouch to enter their rooms and primarchs have to have special areas of the ship large enough to move without being inconvenienced (Fulgrim has his whole ship raised to allow a primarch to not have to kneel because his vanity)
