I'm not a Trump dickrider but I think this is the right way to deal with people like the Ayatollah. By now everyone knows how delayed and ineffective American foreign policy is. The only way to make unfriendly governments stop poking the bear is by having a certified retard in charge with his finger on the nuke button. Remember when he killed Soleimani and every news outlet said that was the 21st century's Franz Ferdinand? It wasn't, but all that talk made Iran back off with their bullshit immediately. They want that war even less than we do.
People outside the US see us as an empire in decline that's all the more dangerous for how it might lash out at the first regional competitor to try anything.
