Unique card for delirium. Don't work with sorcery-type-matters effects, but do work with permanent-matters effects. You can't cast a free invasion of ergamon with founding the third path or recur it, but you can grab it with cache grab and it counts +1 towards squirming emergence
Its such an insanely poorly designed mechanic. The only time people actually flip battles is when its not relevant, like if a control deck already has an advantaged board state or someone is in pure desperation mode with a sub-alpha strike
I think the ONLY battle anyone actually attacked as a gameplan was invasion of gobblecock and boy was that an annoying plan, they'd get a tax, grow & protect effect all in one card. But it completely vanished off the face of the metagame thanks to temporary lockdown + sunfall
And yet, invasion of erdogan president of turkey exists and enables too many degenerate turn 3 kills
