>like 80% of gen Z is extremely lonely that's why I hate this generation
Strauss-Howe predicted how gen-z would be back in late 1980's:
>grow up sheltered, becoming anxious and depressed
>have an intensely dissatisfied coming of age and young adulthood
>be sexless and lonely under poor economic conditions
The theory is that generations are reactions to previous ones, so they predicted Gen-Z would get ALL of the "fall out" of baby boomer generation. So:
>boomers had "free love" = gen-z gets none
>boomers were druggies = gen-z would be sober
>boomers loved living in the real world = gen-z would hate the real world
>boomers loved themselves = gen-z hates themselves
>boomer had a great economy = gen-z had terrible economy
A gen-z type generation happens every 250 years (the last one was the "interior generation of 1680-1700, so called because they spent all their time indoors), it's basically the most unlucky generation you possibly be born into, BUT the good news they tend to have good old ages.
