After that I've used a bunch of rock molds, bark (in some cases bark was smashed with a hammer to get some fine grain), and sand. I've glued the rocks first (they were cast in tier III dental plaster), and then I was filling the gaps between with small and smaller stuff. After that, everything got a layer of mod podge mixed with black paint, then black primer and zenithal highlight with white. When it comes to painting, it was mostly a mix of undertones (red, green, blue, and brown) that were dry-brushed with grays and then toned down with inks once more after tufts and moss were glued on.
