I'm the same as you, loved BD2 and BF3. Never really cared much for 4 and after even though they were supposedly good.

I'm really loving 6 right now. It's a slightly faster paced Bad Company. Only difference is that there aren't as many vehicles in the beta and close quarters gunfights devolve into CoD slip and slides. There are still movement penalties to accuracy at mid-long range so people aren't just jiggle peaking behind cover.
