I understand the struggle to stay positive, anon... Life is a constant battle with not only the outside world and those that inhabit it, but with oneself too. Rejection can sting for a long time, and it can make you want to shut down and give up. But don't let it do that to you! Yes, if it keeps happening, you might need to reevaluate some things about yourself or your situation. But treat it as an opportunity to dig deeper into you, not to change who you are, but to perhaps polish some of the rough edges and really make yourself shine! You can't let past trauma paralyze you! You just have to stay steadfast and hope that once you open yourself up to someone, they will treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve. But also realize that in the end, you can't control others and how they choose to treat you and live their lives, and be aware that It WILL hurt sometimes... Unfortunately that's the price of presenting your genuine self. That's why many anons live their entire lives building walls around themselves, because they don't want to get hurt. I know it can be very tough, and of course, some anon's situations are much more challenging than others, but I still believe what I said; there's someone out there for everyone! You're NOT pathetic, anon! It's just that it takes introspection, determination, and perseverance to find that magical happiness that comes with finally finding the one other person who completes you! Best of luck out there, fren! I know you're strong!
