Tried to reply to you on the other thread but the site seems to have problems so i will copy it here.
Only played the first two games so far and i think they are pretty good but they are much slower paced than a Souls game, lets go with with the japanese numbering scheme because the first game never released outside japan.
>1 is a pretty straightforward dungeon delver at its core with a clear objective of getting to the lowest floor, the moment you get a weapon with MP regen and a healing spell the game becomes piss easy aside from two enemies
>2 has mostly dropped its dungeon delving and you can start to see the usual Fromsoft philosophy, non linear interconnected
areas, bullshit cheap enemies, figuring the story out through NPC scattered throughout, much better game overall.
