Gotta say, this scene is fun.
Though I don't know if the chose the correct actor for Johnny. He's so stilted in his delivery. It kinda worked for Neo and John Wick but somehow this isn't what I imagine a Rock Star Freedom Fighter to sound.
Also I'm a little upset at CDPR for spoiling (some of) the outcome of the Heist in the trailer, kind of diminished the impact of the moment I think.
Also I didn't get to hang out with Jackie once with the Night City Interactions mod because he was always occupied by some quest state. Shame

Of course, it's hard to juggle between audiences whoa re familiar with the source material and those who aren't (same with Witcher, finally enough, except there you also had to deal with people who hadn't played 1 and 2) but even I, who knew next nothing to the game could understand that Saburo is a big deal. Though I think that's the part I'm fine with, what annoyed me more is that it felt as if the game didn't trust me to come to the conclusion, that being stuck in the room was a bad thing myself.

Dunno if you played Subnautica, but that has my all time favorite example of that. There is a moment close to the beginning of the game, where something bad happens. And it had such an impact on me, because it just happens. No remark from your AI companion who narrates some of the game, no objective pop up, you just stand there, let it sink in and wonder what the hell you're supposed to do now. For all the flaws the game has that moment was perfect.
Enter the sequel Bellow Zero, where the main character is voiced and adds remarks to fucking everything. I think it's the worst when you as a player figure something out (because it has been foreshadowed so heavily) and then feel disconnected from the player character, when they are dumber than you in that regard and act all surprised when the big reveal happens (Borderlands 3 had a hilarious case of that.)
