Never listen to anyone who has anything nice to say about the Digimon TCG past like the first handful of sets outside of the art. The memory thing is a decent gimmick but then it fucked itself by making Digimon into floodgates that dont pay into the memory system to use their shit. Even if you look past that it picked up a really bad habit of having decks that can facilitate OTKs,like straight up you can go from the max life to a downright loss.
Just let that shit burn so they can come back and try again.
