Kinda torn because steel is my favorite type… but I started looking into this artist’s fan mangas awhile back (I don’t remember their name, I just saved as much as I could find) and reading them has really made me appreciate his Cradily more. I didn’t notice it’s his only female Pokemon on his team, and the way the artist depicts her has sorta similar vibes to what >>57933822 said about a gap. His other Pokemon are all these hardened fighters, and don’t get me wrong she is too but her personality is cute and not something I’d associate with Steven. She’s attached to him in like that Ash & Chikorita/Bayleef way but way less annoying because it’s husbando and he does no wrong in my eyes.
