I remember back when the whole Calarts Style discussion began online around 2018, the time ThunderCats Roar was revealed, yet then tons of people for some reason claimed that "the calarts style dosent exist" and all everyone critical of it shut up about it.
I believe that the only people who claimed that the style doesn't exist were insecure artists who, rather than improve on their artwork, would rather ignore the fact that their art looks beanmouth-ish.
A good example is that time in 2023 when Alex Hirsch claimed that only a few cartoons years ago had that style, ignoring the fact that it still exists to this day.
